400 Texas Jobs Opening

Governor Rick Perry announced today that the latest city to benefit from the Texas Enterprise Fund is Wichita Falls. The Texas Enterprise Fund is a state run initiative whose intent is to encourage new companies to open their businesses in state. This is nothing new to the Big State of Texas as Houston has flourished because of companies moving their businesses or satellite divisions there allowing for more and more jobs. It may also be one of the reasons that Houston has felt both the unemployment and poor economic issues a little less than the rest of the US.

The Office of Gov. Rick Perry said today that the fund plans to invest $1.5 million in bedding product manufacturer Natura World who will be opening a manufacturing facility in Wichita Falls which will also serve as its U.S. headquarters.

The Natura World investment is expected to create 400 jobs for Texans and more than $24.9 million in capital investment, Perry’s office said.

Hardworking Texans Reaping The Rewards

“The success of our state is built primarily on the efforts of hardworking Texans, combined with our low taxes, reasonable and predictable regulatory climate and skilled workforce, which continue to attract employers who know that they’ll get the chance to succeed” Governor Perry said. Any talk of jobs seems to perk the ears up of many.

The Texas Enterprise Fund is a smart roadmap to follow for other states. Known for their economic planning, Texas is the one state that, while of course the feel the economic blow, it is much softer than in most other places in the United States. If more states followed what Texas does instead of relying on the Whitehouse bobbleheads, they’d probably not be in such poor financial shape. At least the townspeople wouldn’t, they’d have jobs.

This is just one of the latest and obvious benefits coming from the Texas Enterprise Fund. More to hear about that we’re sure.
