The Doubletree Resort Orlando-International Drive plans to hire up to 35 people at a January 4, 2010 job fair at the hotel. Apply Online Here.

Hotel security

Applicants seeking part time and full time employment can apply in person at the hotel’s Lakes Conference Center, located at 10100 International Drive in Orlando. 400 Jobs Coming To Texas! Texas Governor Rick Perry announced today that Natura World Inc., a Canadian-based mattress and bedding manufacturer, will set up a manufacturing plant in Wichita Falls in the coming months. Just as much of a shock, No Show Kay Bailey Hutchison didn't show up for the Jobs Bill Vote. more

It's not news that Facebook has been looking for a place to open new offices. It IS news that Governor Rick Perry offered $1.4 million in incentives for Facebook if they open the new office in Austin, Texas. If the deal goes through, this would mean 200 new jobs in addition to improving the technology scene in Austin which has been on the brink since Google closed their offices there in 2008. Facebook COO had this to say regarding the offer, “We’ve been exploring various options around the U.S. to establish an additional online sales and operations office Austin, with its deep talent pool, would allow us to hire the high-caliber employees we need to properly serve the people, advertisers and developers that rely on our service.”
