Dallas – Fort Worth is a large metropolitan area in Texas when, under normal conditions, it offers a broad and deep economy with countless opportunities for job seekers. Dallas, while still seeing unemployment slumps, is still much better off than most of the country. With the unemployment rate at 8.6%, you can see that it’s not as bad as most places.
Because the Dallas Fort Worth area is so large, if you really need a job, try looking for some part time Dallas jobs instead of badgering yourself day in and day out trying to find full-time employment. Until the U.S. gets out of this mess, there’s no such thing as steady employment.
Even though Dallas Fort Worth will be one of the first areas to see that the economy is recovering, the hope for long-term employment still looks grim. It’s for this reason we are encouraging people to consider one or more part time Dallas jobs even if they aren’t in your chosen field of employment.
